Facilities of the Center
Located on the grounds of the Church of the Holy Ascension of our Lord, a metochion dependency of the Monastery of Simon Petras of the Holy Mount Athos, the Hellenic Centre for Biomedical Ethics offers a standard of excellence for its meetings and events, conveniently situated just above the Hilton area of central Athens.

The ground floor contains an auditorium for up to seventy attendants. In-house professional quality audio-visual systems, including teleconferencing and projection support the Centre's mission for disseminating knowledge. |
| Adjacent to the auditorium is the Centre's library, containing publications and an archive of official documents from bioethics committees and organizations world-wide, as well as DVDs, videotapes and other pertinent materials on relevant topics. A vast collection of Greek Orthodox Patristic literature enriches its holdings. | ![]() |
Also supporting the Centre's activities is a computer network consisting of fully integrated PC and Macintosh machines, a central server, scanners, printers and photocopy equipment..
